What I don’t do
I’ll always be straight with you about what needs a specialist. Gas work must be done by a Gas Safe registered engineer, and notifiable electrical work (new circuits, fuse boards, bathroom and outdoor wiring) by a Part P registered electrician. Boilers and major plumbing are a plumber’s job. If your job falls into one of those, I’ll tell you, and I’m happy to point you towards someone good.
What does it cost?
Pricing depends on the job, but I keep it simple and honest — a clear quote before I start, with no hidden call-out games. The best value is always to save a few jobs up for one visit. You can read more in my guide to handyman costs in Cambridge, or just get in touch for a free quote.
Where I work
I cover Cambridge and the surrounding villages. Not sure if you’re in range? Just ask — if I can get to you, I will.
